Jill Rumoshosky Werner's art is displayed in prestigious exhibits around the country and has won awards on the national and international levels. Primarily conceptual sculpture, Jill's work combines quilted forms with other media, . Her work has been published in American Craft magazine and she was awarded a 2008 Mid-Career Fellowship from the Kansas Arts Commission. Jill was also one of the founders of Kansas Art Quilters. A native of the New York City area, she now lives in Wichita, Kansas.

Artist Statement: Knitted: Formed by looping yarn or thread in interlocking waves, using needles to hold the stitches.

Materials and techniques: Cotton fabric, cotton batting, foam, wood, plastic, paint. Hand dyeing, machine quilting.
